Yes, you do need to pay for printing. Black & white and color print jobs are charged at different rates: $0.10 a page for B&W, and $0.25 a page for color.
UMass Lowell students start each semester with a $15 printing allotment, and you can add funds with a credit or debit card by following the instructions on the UCAPS webpage.
