To check if the library has a specific book, use the “Catalog” search tab on the UML Library home page or visit the WorldCat Navigator website.

Then enter your book title and click “search.” If the library owns the book, it will appear on the results page with the location and a call number. If it’s a print book, you can use that call number to find the book in the library. If it’s an eBook, you can click the blue “View eBook” button to read it online.

If the library doesn’t own the book, it will not show a UMass Lowell Library Location on the listing. If you need a book that the library doesn’t own, you can place a free Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request. We can usually get items from other libraries in 2 to 14 days, depending on the availability.
