You do not need the author's permission to post journal articles. If you are challenged about copyright, you may argue "fair use" and explain that Blackboard is password protected and limits access to your students. However, it is better to link to the full text article from one of our databases when possible. We've found linking to the article is much easier. The library is happy to help you find article URLs and ensure they are coded to facilitate off-campus access.
