The UML Library does NOT have traditional copy machines. Instead, we have scanners that allow you to print or save a scan. There is no cost to scan a document, or to save it to an external drive. However, you need to pay to print a scanned document, so visit our Printing Costs page for more details.

You can find library scanners at the following locations:

Lydon Library (North Campus)

  • First Floor - 1 scanner

O'Leary Library (South Campus)

  • Fourth Floor - 1 scanner

NOTE: These scanners do NOT allow scans to be sent to an email address. They can:

  • Scan to print
    • Requires login to MyPrint Center on a separate device to release the print job
  • Scan to USB
    • Bring your own USB drive to store scanned files

If you just need to use a printer, check the options at our Library Printer guide. To see a full list of campus scanner and printer locations, visit the UPrint Locations website.
